On May 23, 2026, Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly welcomed more than 115 guests to celebrate our 29th Anniversary Gala. Together, we raised more than $66,000 to help relieve loneliness and isolation among elders throughout Greater Cincinnati!

This year’s theme, Flowers Before Bread, honored the philosophy of our International founder, Armand Marquiset, who believed that while food and shelter are essential, friendship, connection, beauty, and belonging are equally necessary for a life lived with dignity.

As a privately funded, volunteer-led organization, events like our Anniversary Gala make it possible to provide year-round programming, friendly visits, holiday celebrations, birthday visits, telephone reassurance, outings, resource support, and meaningful opportunities for connection to elders aging with little to no family support.

We are deeply grateful to our event sponsors, as well as every donor, volunteer, and committee member who helped make this year’s Gala our most successful to date.
