Based on an article from the Cultural Atlas, family provides emotional and economic support to the individual and often forms the basis of their social circles. The exact same aid and relief Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly provides to our elderly friends – emotional and economic support and an enriched social life of dignity.

The Italian culture also holds a high regard for its aging community and understands the importance of keeping elders engaged across generations. Many of these engagements take place during the Sunday Dinner tradition. Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly brings that sense of family, care, and love to elders who are not as fortunate to have family or a support network. LBFE has opened our doors and hearts to isolated elders for over 27 years and operates strictly off of individual donations, grants, and fundraisers like the Italian Dinner.
